It may look like some irrelevant human characteristic, but optimism is very important. It is a huge difference when you look at something and you say ‘’I will succeed’’ and when you say ‘’I will fail’’. The differences between optimism and pessimism are more than just simple words. Optimists are those people who believe in themselves and who can do something what they want. Also, these people are happier because they don’t worry about mistakes and failure. After all, it is much better than your glass is half full.

Beside aforementioned benefits, there are many more. You will have to try and see them all. The secret is to start thinking as an optimist. It isn’t hard and you can do it. At first, everything you say or do will be a lie. At least you will believe in that. But eventually, you will start thinking as a real optimist. This means, you will finally have courage to do something you want. For example, you want to approach to a person you like and start a conversation. If you think that you will fail, you are expecting a defeat, but if you think that you will succeed, you will expect ‘’victory’’.

After all, how many reasons there are that can convince a person that pessimism is better than optimism? The answer is, none. There is no single reason that can justify if you are a pessimist. Also, optimism is linked and known as positive, and pessimism as negative. We all know that positive is good and negative is bad. If you want a good and positive life, start thinking like that.
